I live in Hillsdale County, Michigan. I am happy to travel to you! For standard to newborn, please keep travel times under 2 hours. For weddings & events, longer travel may be discussed.

We frequent Adrian, Jackson, Kalamazoo, and Toledo often. Please keep us in mind if you are within those areas.

Standard sessions will be delivered within 2 weeks. Other sessions may take up to 4 weeks depending on the session style. You can expect a preview within 1-3 days. These are generally shared via social media as well, so please let me know if you have restrictions due to privacy needs, such as in cases of fostering or safety.

Weddings & events will be fully delivered within 8 weeks. A small sampling will be available throughout for your use while you wait.

When able, I will do my best to deliver before deadlines. Please understand that I have a family and struggle with depression/ anxiety. These can affect my ability to work when may be necessary. Communication will be kept if these factors will play a part in your delivery. Another photographer may be used for completion of services in rare instances to meet standards.

You can expect lighting and color enhancements on all photographs, as well as removal or smoothing of obnoxious background distractions when present. As for the humans in the frame, I'm here to show you that you are beautiful as is. This means I will not remove what makes you YOU. Temporary blemishes, markings, and lines will be removed if not the focus of the shoot, such as in trauma sessions.

I like to include a mix of artistic and natural photos, so expect a bit of artsy editing within your session, such as matte effects and dramatic lighting.

I want to start by saying: Never let money stop you from capturing your milestones! Reach out if you are facing financial struggle- I may need a model, a trade of crafts/ services, or we can work something out, such as a payment plan. Taking advantage of my understanding can place me in a hard position, so please be honest in your inquiry.

Photographers put lots of time into their craft. Equipment is expensive! I spend hours watching videos, reading resources, and learning new techniques to improve my craft- many classes costing money. Editing software is a monthly bill, this website, domain, and client gallery capabilities are a giant expense once a year- occasionally upgrading throughout. Props, laundry soap for props, bags to carry those props... gas to meet you, marketing, camera cleaning solutions and services, water bottles for clients, candy for the children, software updates, and print samples are never free. Studio space requires payment and insurance. There's so much more I'm forgetting, but there are tons of articles out there for those who want to learn more.

By the time I pay for everything, I still need a living wage for my family. I coupon, shop through rakuten, sign up for referral rewards, budget, extend leftovers, and make anything I can to save money. I promise you, I am not trying to take advantage of you. I'm trying to live with passion.
